Katherine Walters

Katherine Walters has worked in various areas of accounting. Upon graduating from East Carolina University with a degree in Business Administration, she began her career at Edgecombe Community College, where she worked her way up through the ranks to become the college’s first Controller. She worked for ECC for 22 1/2 years before becoming the Finance Director for Edgecombe County. She went on to complete her service with Edgecombe County and retired in August 2022 with over thirty years of service.

For Warren Accounting, Katherine manages bookkeeping and payroll accounts at our Pinetops office.

Katherine’s greatest joy is her two sons, Trey and Jack. Trey, the oldest, currently owns his own business, Small Town Landscaping, and Jack is a student at William Peace University and a member of the men’s competitive swim team. Katherine spends her free time with her family and friends. You can often find her traveling around watching her nephew Curt playing baseball, back and forth to her peaceful condo on the Pungo River in Belhaven, NC, and may even see her on a lawnmower helping support her son’s business.
